Освещается актуальность преподавания устного последовательного и письменного перевода в вузе с использованием интерпретативной теории, которая нацелена на перевод смысла высказывания или текста, а не отдельных языковых единиц. Актуальность использования этой теории доказывается требованиями, предъявляемыми современным обществом к качеству подготовки переводчиков.

The article takes up questions of the teaching of the consecutive interpretation and translation in higher education institute based on the interpretive theory. This theory is pointed at the translation of the meaning of the utterance or the text and not at the translation of the separates linguistics units.
