The article dwells on the problem of professional competence in reference to future teachers of the Russian language. The author of the article lays an emphasis upon the fact that professional competence of the teacher of language and literature should be regarded through an integrity of key, base and subject competence.

Статья посвящена проблеме педагогических принципов формирования профессиональной компетенции будущих учителей русского языка. Подчеркивается, что профессиональную компетентность учителя-словесника следует рассматривать через совокупность ключевых, базовых и предметных компетенций.
