Abstract

The prospective vectors in the development of master programs at library and information science department of Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts are connected with providing leadership and advice in the main matters related to research. The facilitation of research climate in library and information science department requires the correction of the Federal Standard of higher professional education in library and information sphere, determination of new rationales for internationalization of education and establishment of the research cluster as a mechanism of stimulating research in libraries and information centers (agencies) in the regional context.

Перспективные векторы развития магистратуры библиотечно-информационного факультета СПбГУКИ связаны с совершенствованием научно-исследовательской деятельности. В этой связи предлагается проведение работы по корректировке федерального государственного стандарта высшего профессионального образования в разделах, имеющих отношение к научно-исследовательской деятельности, а также интернационализация образования и создание исследовательского кластера как механизма повышения эффективности библиотечно-информационного образования и деятельности библиотек и информационных центров (агентств) региона.
