Abstract

The article presents the results of studying and mapping of the coastal landscapes as a spatial system of recreation planning. The current state of Lake Baikal coast landscape organization is evaluated taking into account the need to preserve cultural settlement landscapes and improve their aesthetic organization. Functional zoning of a man and society activities in the Lake Baikal basin is performed. Territorial zones of work and rest differentiation are determined. The authors propose an aesthetic zoning of intersettlement areas according to the features of visual perception, attractiveness and accessibility.
