Abstract

The article contains the analysis of contradictions between the musical education system and the statistical data of pupils attrition (musical school № 4). We also consider the psychological and pedagogical conditions promoting the formation of steady attitude to educational activity at children's musical school. The developed questionnaire for pupils of elementary grades and their parents, promoted research of prevailing motives, interests and reasons induced to come parents and pupils to the musical school. The Q-data shows that loss of creative character of the musical activity, the exaggerated attention to technical problems, narrow professional-performing orientation of pupils leads to loss of a childs interest to musical classes.
