Abstract

In accordance with the national program of the Republic of Belarus up to 2015 it is scheduled to put into operation a number of power sources working on chip fuel with a total capacity up to 1025.7 MW. Nowadays operational efficiency of energy sources is reduced due to high cost of production and transportation of wood fuel. It is necessary significantly to improve the applied technology and select efficient technical means for its implementation. The paper analyzes a storage technology of fuel wooden and wood waste chip with due account of their technical and economic parameters. Proposals on improvement of the existing chip fuel technology are given in the paper.
