Abstract

The author argues that economic development of the country in the given period laid the foundation for reforms in the agricultural sector of economy. Unprecedented technological and financial resources contributed to the implementation of major national complex projects on the basis of economic cooperation and agro-industrial integration. The pace of agro-industrial integration in Dagestan was faster than in many other regions of the country. This fact can be explained by specific features of agricultural cultivation of grapes, fruits and vegetables.
