The paper discusses a problem of the formation of life values among servicemen in the process of Patriotic education. The paper examines the main approaches to the analysis of the phenomenon of patriotism and considers priority areas for the education of patriotism cadets. The main priority areas, according to the authors, are developing life meaning areas and life values as regulators of the social action. The authors identify the nature and multi-level, system-integrated nature of the phenomenon of patriotism, and how it is expressed in meanings and goals of the soldiers'' lives. The research also included identifying and analyzing the main philosophical, sociological and religious interpretations of the meaning of life. It is noted that the methods of formation of life values in servicemen have not yet been developed in pedagogical science and no familiar pedagogical technologies are used in the Patriotic education of cadets.

В статье рассматриваются проблемы формирования смысложизненных ценностей военнослужащих в процессе патриотического воспитания. В работе исследуются основные подходы к анализу феномена патриотизма, рассматриваются приоритетные направления воспитания патриотизма курсантов военных вузов. Основными из них, по мнению авторов, являются формирование жизненных смыслов и смысложизненных ценностей регуляторов социальных действий. Авторы выделяют сущность и многоуровневую, системно-комплексную природу феномена патриотизма, его деятельностное проявление в смыслах (стратегиях) жизни военнослужащих. Выделены и проанализированы основные философские, социологические, религиозные трактовки смысла жизни. Отмечено, что проблематика формирования смысложизненных ценностей военнослужащих пока не разработана в педагогической науке и не стала привычной педагогической технологией, используемой в патриотическом воспитании курсантов военных вузов.
