Быт студентов Томского Технологического Института императора Николая II

Abstract

Целью статьи является рассмотрение быта студентов Томского Технологического института императора Николая II. Для детального изучения проблемы приводятся данные о сословных и материальных показателях студентов-технологов. В результате проведенной работы автор отмечает сложное материальное положение большинства студентов первого высшего технического учебного заведения Сибири, из которых и вытекали проблемы бытового характера. Однако, не смотря на эти факторы, на единичные случаи распущенного поведения, студенты-технологи большую часть времени проводили за учебными занятиями и за научными изысканиями.

The paper focuses on the life of students of Tomsk Technological Institute of Emperor Nicholas II. The detailed study of the issue is based on technology students’ social class and financial state data. The majority of students of the first higher technical education institution in Siberia are reported to have suffered financial difficulties, resulting in domestic problems. However, despite these factors and single cases of lax behaviour, technology students devoted most of their time spent to training sessions and scientific research.
