Abstract

The system of methods of cognitive and practical activities as a tool of cognitive and language autonomy is the theoretical basis of author´s teaching and methodological materials in French. The article describes its introduction into the process of education taking as the example the development of skills to understand foreign text. Learning to read is based on the principle of multi-level approach: mastering the technique of reading, general, detailed, critical and stylistic understanding text. Each level corresponds to a specific method of cognitive and practical activities, imitative, reproductively-creative and/or constructively-creative autonomy. Application techniques seen by the example of the textbook, books to read and books for teachers for class 10 secondary school. The effectiveness of techniques is proved experimentally and confirmed by the experience of the author´s teaching and methodological materials in the practice of teaching French in secondary schools of the Republic of Tatarstan.
