In the article the tendencies of development of modern design are analysed and the necessity of combination of the traditional and innovative approaches to professional preparation of designers is actualized; the expedience of the use of problem project approach in an educational process of higher link of continuous education of design; author differentiation of group of problem situations of design is offered for solving them by the students of specialization «The Design of Interior».

В статье проанализированы особенности развития современного дизайна и актуализировано необходимость сочетания традиционных и инновационных подходов к профессиональной подготовке дизайнеров, обосновано целесообразность использования проблемно-проектного подхода в учебно-воспитательном процессе высшего звена непрерывного дизайн-образования, предложена авторская дифференциация групп проблемных дизайн-ситуаций для их решения студентами специализации «Дизайн интерьера».
