Article is devoted to the model of the Bachelor of journalism. Describes the core competencies (knowledge, skills and quality), the graduate must demonstrate completion of an undergraduate degree. The model correlates with modern processes in journalism, MEDIA convergence, the development of digital technology, the increased pace of work, universalism and high social responsibility of the journalist.

Анализируется модель бакалавра журналистики. Описываются базовые компетенции (знания, умения и качества), которые выпускник должен продемонстрировать при окончании бакалавриата. Модель соотносится с современными процессами в журналистике, с конвергенцией СМИ, бурным развитием цифровых технологий, повышенным темпом работы, универсализмом и повышенной социальной ответственностью журналиста.
