Abstract

In article model approach to calculation of the natural fire danger (NFD) to the mixed forests is described. An example of pine and birch plantings for the forest of cowberry group is reviewed. Quantitative estimates of change of class NFD, on the basis of calculation of individual share year of litter needles-foliage, for various structure of planting are offered: from pure pine forests (the 2nd class – fire danger high) to pure birch forests (the 4th class – fire danger weak). It is offered to establish transition border from 2 classes NFD to 3 at the level of 0.6-0.7 shares of litter needles generally fall down needles-foliage (that corresponds to structure 8S2B – 7S3B), and transition from 3 classes NFD to 4 at the level of 0.2-0.3 (6B4S-7B3S).
