Abstract

The medium-scale digital mapping of soil structure of the agro-forest landscapes in Volgograd region has been carried out. This map, compiled on the basis of the Digital Relief Model (DRM), the method of relief sculpture and the use of satellite imagery, displays more objectively and reliably the information about the current state of soil cover of the test site «Cherensky» and its structure, representing its actuality. The isoline maps made characterize the distribution of indices in the meridional and latitudinal directions as related to terrain and soil contours, thereby making it possible to identify the character of their changes in space. It is ascertained that this kind of information is necessary in order to find out the conformity of the land-use structure with the soil surface structure, when working out the projects of adaptive-landscape arrangement and agricultural landscapes optimization purposed to prevent soils degradation, their protection and fertility improvement, ensuring the objectivity, effectiveness and adequacy of the decisions taken.

Проведено среднемасштабное цифровое картографирование структуры почвенного покрова в агролесоландшафтах Волгоградской области. Данная карта, составленная на основе ЦМР, метода пластики рельефа и использования космоснимков, более объективно и достоверно отображает информацию о современном состоянии почвенного покрова тестового полигона «Черенский» и его структуре, представляя его актуальным. Составленные изолинейные карты характеризуют распределение показателей в меридиональном и широтном направлениях относительно рельефа местности и почвенных контуров, тем самым позволяя выявить закономерности их изменений в пространстве. Показано, что такого рода информация необходима для выявления соответствия структуры землепользования структуре почвенного покрова при разработке проектов адаптивно-ландшафтного обустройства и оптимизации агроландшафтов, направленных на предотвращение деградации почв, их охрану и повышение их плодородия, обеспечивая объективность, эффективность и адекватность принимаемых решений.
