Abstract

The concept of communicative competence and its significance in officer’s activities has been specified. The Formation of communicative competence of military institution cadets is considered as one of the most important challenges of the contemporary military education. Psychodiagnostic study on communicative competence of military institution cadets has been conducted. Authentic gender differences according to communication performance control, communication tolerance, personal frustration, individual factors of communicative social competence have been identified during the research. The hypothesis about the relationship between the communication competence level of cadets and the efficiency of their learning activity has been stated and confirmed. It has also been found out that the female-cadets in comparison with the male-cadets have higher levels of communicative competence in almost all the criteria considered. At the same time the female-cadets demonstrate higher levels of progress in studies, scientific research, sports and other spheres of educational process.
