Abstract

The objective of the article is to describe the key points of teaching the phonetics and lexis to the students who study The Journalism in French as the chief subject and also to identify the most typical problems connected with language study and the ways of solving these problems. While considering these problems we think it to be reasonable to appeal to cognitive linguistics as the teaching of the foreign culture implies the involving the cognitive processes that underlie the categorization of reality.
