О некоторых проблемах развития ветеранского спорта и путях их решения

Abstract

The article shows an objective necessity to develop veteran sports in country. The survey of the executive authorities of the constituent units of the Russian Federation in the area of physical education and sports as well as of the sport federations, including veteran ones, has provided the information about the definition of “Sports Veteran”, institutional basis, competition system, financial support, participation of executive authorities in physical education and sports, participation of sport federations in veteran sports development. Certain suggestions in relation to the development of veteran sports in country have been developed.

В статье показана объективная необходимость развития в стране ветеранского спорта. На основе опроса исполнительных органов власти субъектов Российской Федерации в области физической культуры и спорта и спортивных федераций, включая ветеранские, получены данные о понятии «Ветеран спорта», организационных основах, системе соревнований, финансовом обеспечении, участии исполнительных органов власти в области физической культуры и спорта, спортивных федераций в развитии ветеранского спорта. Разработаны предложения по развитию в стране спорта ветеранов.
