Abstract

The peculiarities of the phenological research of the large-fruited apple tree sorts growing in the open form on the lower terrace of the Botanical garden named after Vs. M. Krutovskiy, during the period from 2012 to 2014 are reflected in the article. The most perspective sorts for further selection characterized by the late vegetation beginning that protects the vegetating sprouts and generative bodies from frosting-up in spring, by the early ripening of fruits and the end of vegetation, by the high winter hardiness are singled out.
