Abstract

There is analysis of the different points of view on the Idea of a University of Humboldt W., Newman J. H., Ortega y Gasset J., Jaspers K., Schelsky H., Habermas J., Weber M., etc. The correlation of the function independence of the science as system and education as a culture is considered. In accordance with concept of the Idea of a University the historical retrospective reviews of the famous humanists and philosophizes have described. The modern model of the University Education includes two imperatives: first of all it is fundamental character and as second, humanization. The realization of both of them allows implementing «the dialog of two cultures».
