Abstract

Subject to introduction into scientific circulation being data on a sculpture of white polar bear found in the pebble stone brought from the coast of Anadyr estuary. With the regard for raw material (walrus tusk) and design (zooanthropomorphic image), the artefact belongs to ancient Bering marine culture (ancient Eskimo culture) which existed in the Far North-East of Asia at the end of I millennium B.C. I millennium A.D. This finding broadens the area of ancient Eskimo culture toward the south, stimulating search of artefacts by ancient Arctic sea hunters on the coast of Anadyr estuary.

э. I тыс. н.э.
