Abstract

The purpose of the article is to give the definition of information and educational space and to present its structure in modern conditions of transformation the information space. The information and educational space is defined as the space ofverbal and documentary communications formed for increase of cultural and educational level of his subjects. It has defined preconditions of creation of specialized information and educational space for children and teenagers and a role of sociocultural institutes in its formation. Information and educational resources of establishments of the basic and additional education, libraries and other cultural institutions, including verbal information (lessons, lectures, educational occupations) have to become resources of this space. The real and virtual (electronic) space on the example of children’s library, as one of components of social information and educational space, has considered. Integration of activity of sociocultural institutes has presented as a condition of increase of efficiency of their activity, creation of system effect. On the basis of system approach the information and educational space has presented as set of functional components: spatial and semantic (space of sociocultural establishments), substantial and methodical (information resources, conceptual bases, education forms and methods), communication and organizational (distribution of the statuses and definition of the scheme of interaction of structural components of space). The principles of creation of space has defined: organizational and pedagogical (flexibility, availability, adequacy it is information fillings), system and technical (openness, ergonomics), psychological and pedagogical (information security, a humanistic orientation, compliance to psychological and age features of development, and educational activity of pupils). Such activity of libraries, serving children and teenager in the conditions of using new technologies allows to form new educational and cultural conditions for younger generation: high quality of education and its integration into world information structure; openness, availability, education continuity, gives the chance of the cultural growth, personal development, a positive self-assessment.

Даны определение и структура информационно-образовательного пространства. Библиотеки для детей и подростков представлены его компонентами: в качестве объектов пространства они предоставляют свои ресурсы для доступа пользователей к ним, позволяют принять участие в создании ресурсов. Интеграция деятельности библиотек с социокультурными институтами позволяет формировать новые образовательные и культурные условия для подрастающего поколения.
