Abstract

The article discusses contemporary types of regional infrastructure against the background of the growing interest to the theory and practice of Federalism in Russia and around the world, which may be explained by the lack of sufficient understanding of the essence of Federation principle as well as of sovereignty in a Federative state. The author shows that the existing problems may be solved with the use of cluster approach in the regional development.
