Abstract

Basing on the aims of natural science education in higher school the author describes requirements to contents of natural science education of students studying humanities. It reveals that selection and structuring of contents of integrated natural science discipline have to be founded on next points: extracting of fundamental core of knowledge foundations of scientific and functional competence; presentation of content of discipline through its problem and object field; its exposition using the evolutionary and synergetic approaches; modular structuring of educational program and content of educational materials; condensation of educational materials by means of generalization and systematization; identification in the structure and content of educational discipline invariant and variable parts.
