The article considers the peculiarities of organization and implementation of education in the NKVD armed forces during the great patriotic war. In contemporary development of the internal troops of the Russian Ministry of the Internal Affairs the educational work is an integral part of the moral and psychological support of the service-combat activity in the troops. The educational work helps to carry out the state policy of the public security and national defense, to maintain constant combat and mobilization readiness of the troops, to strengthen military discipline and order, to increase psychological resilience of personnel while performing their combat tasks. On the eve of the 70 th anniversary of the Victory Day it is very important to correctly comprehend the historical experience of educational work of the commanders and political workers of NKVD troops in the years of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).

В преддверии 70-летия Дня Победы советского народа в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг. особенно важным становится правильное осмысление исторического опыта воспитательной работы командиров и политработников войск НКВД в годы войны. В статье рассмотрены особенности организации и проведения воспитательной работы с личным составом войск НКВД в годы Великой Отечественной войны. Приведены примеры воспитания военнослужащих войск при выполнении служебно-боевых задач.
