Abstract

We studied the features of integration of the various links of the functional system "mother-placenta-fetus" in the prelabour period, in the first period of labour in dependence on lateral behavioral phenotype. According to the results of correlation analysis we found that the most pronounced withinand inner-system integration of the respiratory system and acid-base-balance of maternal organism, contractive activity of the uterus, heart rate variability of the fetus and fetal blood flow was observed in women with ambidextral behavioral profile of asymmetries in prelabour period, whereas in the case of polar phenotypes (right and left) in the 1st period of labour, indicating more pronounced tension of regulatory mechanisms in this lateral subgroups. Detected differences are due to the specificity of lateral stress stability, depending on the nature of the morphological and functional asymmetries of the female body.
