Abstract

В статье анализируется влияние коммерческого образования, получаемого в средних учебных заведениях Российской империи с начала XIX по начало XX веков, на выбор их выпускниками профессиональной деятельности. Параллельно представлен краткий очерк истории указанных учебных заведений. Проанализированы судьбы 126 выпускников. Полученные количественные данные позволяют дополнить сведения об истории коммерческого образования в России.

The article deals with the commercial secondary education in the Russian empire from the early XIXth to the early XXth century. Its history is outlined. 126 profiles are analysed as regards their choice of a profession or career. The results will contribute to the history of commercial education in Russia.
