Abstract

On the basis of studying immunohistochemical expression of angiogen and antiangiogen factors in the cells of placenta and apoptosis as well, their role in the formation of chronic insufficiency of placenta under the conditions of herpes virus infection is evaluated. 61 placentas are investigated. All material has been divided into three groups: 1) placentas with chronic insufficiency to which children with the asymmetric IUGR form corresponded infected with herpes virus 31 supervisions, from them with a virus of a simple herpes 13 supervisions, with a cytomegalovirus 15 supervisions, a combination of two viruses 3 supervisions; 2) placentas with chronic insufficiency to which children with asymmetric IUGR form corresponded but without infectious pathology 10 supervisions; 3) placentas without insufficiency and without infectious pathology (a control group) 20 supervisions. It has been shown that under herpes virus infection the immune cell activation directed to infectious agent elimination defines apoptosis activation and angiogenesis process infringement in placenta. In case of chronic placental insufficiency without infection the basic pathogenetic event is infringement of angiogenesis processes and insufficient activity of apoptosis processes owing to increase of anti-apoptosis molecules expression.
