Abstract

The article examines the conditions and factors of making the legal culture and developing legal awareness, increasing the role of law in social life, recognizing the intrinsic value of law and personal rights. The level of legal awareness development and its content allow judging the adequacy of the legal culture in a society. To form legal awareness is a basic purpose of the legal culture, the immediate and distant goal of the person's legal education. The problem of legal awareness formation and development is studied through the activation of personal resources thus presenting post-classical understanding of law and anthropocentric law paradigm. The sociological and socio-psychological studies of students' positions demonstrate such personal determinants of legal awareness as self-awareness, reflectivity, autonomy, will, responsibility, and trust. The article is based on the results of the research project, which was carried out in 2011-2014 in Tver and was devoted to the study of basic parameters of the students' legal culture and legal awareness development. The final stage of project was the sociological research «Status and Formation Trends of Students' Legal Culture».
