Abstract

The article suggests an approach, including the use of flexible tariffs for electricity in settlements established according to the required quality of power supply to the consumer, which determines the amount of the damage caused by non-compliance. There is presented an economic interpretation of the concept of "quality of power supply” and disclosed the reasons for its decline in production and environmental systems. The technique for determining the amount of the expected average annual loss from decline in the quality of electricity supply is offered.
