Противоречие истины и пользы в образовании

Abstract

One of the main contradictions of cognitive process is reflected in alternative education concepts. This contradiction is mainly contradiction between basic value systems: aspiration for investigation of the truth and aspiration for practical usefulness. Throughout history it has not been solved, but changed its form. In modern versions of education, contradiction of truth and usefulness is presented as contradiction of orientation for fundamental knowledge and orientation for competence. In national education competence prevails nowadays. Therefore, orientation for fundamental knowledge is comparable with classical philosophical materialism and objective idealism. Ideology of competence is based on philosophy of pragmatism. It intensifies technical input of education. Its successive implementation forms technical type of mindset, which features are inherent worth of facilities and equality of the general and individual.

В альтернативных концепциях образования отражается одно из основных противоречий процесса познания. В своей основе это противоречие между базовыми ценностными установками: стремлением к установлению истины и к получению практической пользы. В ходе истории оно не разрешается, но меняет форму. В современных версиях образования противоречие между истиной и пользой представлено как противоречие между установкой на фундаментальное знание и на компетентность. В отечественном образовании в настоящее время преобладает компетентность. Установка на фундаментальное знание равным образом адекватна классическому философскому материализму и объективному идеализму. Идеология компетентности основана на философии прагматизма. Она усиливает техническую составляющую педагогики. Ее последовательная реализация формирует технический тип мироотношения, для которого характерны самоценность средства и равнозначность общего и единичного.
