Abstract

The paper presents the basic categorical terminology of the investigation to clarify the nature of the relationship of the anxiety level of children of preschool age and the style of the family’s upbringing by their parents. The authors examine the concepts of “anxiety” and “a style of family’s upbringing”. The work presents the course of the study, the main methods, techniques, interpretation of results examine the relationship of these phenomena. The work shows how to describe the level of anxiety among children of preschool age and the styles of parenting among parents of preschool children. The research shows the results of diagnostic styles of parenting in lowand middle-income families, and the high level of anxiety of children in such families. The results of the study suggest the correlation of the relationship between the high level of anxiety and the style of “a little loser”, as well as between the low level of anxiety and the style of “cooperation”, but reliable statistically significant correlation between the level of anxiety and the choice of the educational style by parents is not detected.
