Abstract

This article is containing information about complex studying of colour in the system of higher education. In the text the problem of an integrated approach to the study of colour certificates in the aggregate special disciplines that comprise the basic educational course design in environmental design at the bachelor degree and master’s programme. Touch on the problem of development of students ‘ professional orientation in the field of colour in a comprehensive system approach to solving design problems, along with other disciplines. The description of the sequence of the course of disciplines «the Chromatics and colouring» and «Colouring in the design environment» supporting the implementation of fully informed decisions based on the colour palette provided by nature psychophysiological and aesthetic perception of colour. A brief description of the program’s colour study at the master’s programme level, as a deeper analysis and use of the results obtained in the design colour space of the city.
