Abstract

The article focuses on the problem of ESP texts (based on ESP for economics texts). Reading is analyzed as a reproductive type of speech, and the teaching process is based on the seven levels of textual information comprehension: the word / word combination / sentence / text levels, the level of a text's cultural and emotional connotations, the level of stimulating information comprehension.
