Abstract

The results of research work on development of mathematical competence of the future mathematics teacher in the course «Numerical systems» are given in the article. Two groups of students studied the course «Numerical systems» according to traditional methods as a part of a federal component and two groups of students studied this course as an elective course according to an experimental methods. Mathematical competence level of the future mathematics teacher was estimated by survey, testing, and analysis of examination results. The results were statistically treated.
