Abstract

The choice of means and methods of training should be based on the specifics of the educational process and to fully meet the goals and objectives of education. The main educational goal of professional educational institutions today is to prepare highly skilled specialists able to manage large amounts of information, ready to learn throughout life. The most effective way to achieve this goal is, first of all, the appropriate organization of the educational process, as well as the choice of means of training. In professional educational institutions, teaching should focus on increasing the share of individual work of students to activate their educational-cognitive activity. The most suitable educational means in this case are circuit-signature models of knowledge representation. Due to the nature of the learning process in the professional institutions, the most suitable ways were logical-semantic model, reference outline and metaplan. The methods of cognitive visualization of the educational material are aimed at the improvement of the educational-cognitive activity and formation of students’ competences.
