Abstract

This paper describes a learning environment as a system of psychological conditions that either enhance or impede individual professional development. The main parameters of a productive university environment are outlined. The relationships between students and their learning environment are analyzed. Based on existing patterns of professional training, a comparative analysis of existing models of academic environment is carried out. It is concluded that as a sociocultural system providing socialization and individual development, the academic environment is a multilevel structure of three interrelated components providing individual growth and professional development
