Социально-педагогические условия адаптации студентов первого курса

Abstract

Purpose: to define social-pedagogical conditions of constructing both learning and educational process which is sure to provide first-year students’ effective adaptation to studying at high school. Methodology of research realization: both analysis and synthesis of scientific literature data concerning the research issue; surveillance, questionnaires, pedagogical diagnostics; generalization, systematization. Results. The carried out research has shown that the problem of first-year students’ adap-tation to educational process at high school should be solved in a complex. The research has given the possibility to highlight the following interrelated aspects of adaptation having an influence on the formation of students’ life self-determination: social-personal, individual-personal and educational-professional. The emphasized and proved social-pedagogical conditions (social-personal program of working with students; optional course «Study to study»; educational advising realization; the use of workbook taking into consideration the discipline specificity and consisting of exercises in accordance with adaptability principle and etc) allow to provide in a complex student’ social-personal, individual-personal and educational-professional adaptation to studying at high school. Practical implications: both theses and findings given in this work are sure to provide substantial effectiveness increase of first-year students’ learning-educational process in their adaptation period, and can be realized in practice of high school system as well as in the systems of both re-training and advanced training.

Цель: определить социально-педагогические условия построения учебно-воспитательного процесса, обеспечивающего эффективную адаптацию студентов первого курса к обучению в вузе. Метод или методология проведения работы. Анализ и синтез данных научной литературы по теме исследования; наблюдение, опросные методы, педагогическая диагностика; обобщение, систематизация. Результаты. Проведенное исследование показало, что проблему адаптации первокурсников к образовательному процессу в вузе следует решать комплексно, и позволило выделить следующие взаимосвязанные аспекты адаптации, оказывающие влияние на формирование жизненного самоопределения студентов: социально-личностный, индивидуально-личностный и учебно-профессиональный. Выделенные и обоснованные в работе социально-педагогические условия (социально-личностная программа работы со студентами; факультативный курс «Учись учиться»; проведение учебного консультирования; применение рабочей тетради, учитывающей специфику учебной дисциплины и включающей систему упражнений, отвечающую принципу адаптивности и др.) позволяют обеспечить в комплексе социально-личностную, индивидуально-личностную и учебно-профессиональную адаптацию студентов к обучению в вузе. Область применения результатов. Содержащиеся в работе положения и выводы позволят обеспечить существенное повышение эффективности учебно-воспитательного процесса первокурсников в адаптационный период и могут быть реализованы в практике образовательных учреждений высшего профессионального образования, а также в системе переподготовки и повышения квалификации работников образо-вания.
