Abstract

The history of formation of social pediatrics as science and a teaching subject is presented. The concept of social pediatrics has been given. Priority activities in the field of social pediatrics are noted to be: 1) studying of the social reasons of children's diseases; 2) special attention to children being in a difficult life experience; 3) medical and social rehabilitation of children with limited possibilities of health; 4) organization of the medico-social help to the children's population. The contribution of research workers of the "Scientific Centre of Child Healthcare" of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences into development of actual problems of social pediatrics is considered.

Представлены история становления социальной педиатрии как науки и предмета преподавания и этапы ее развития в России. Дано определение понятия социальной педиатрии. Указано, что приоритетными направлениями деятельности в области социальной педиатрии являются: 1) изучение социальных причин детских болезней; 2) особое внимание детям, находящимся в трудной жизненной ситуации; 3) медико-социальная реабилитация детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья; 4) организация медико-социальной помощи детскому населению. Описан вклад ученых НЦЗД РАМН в развитие актуальных проблем социальной педиатрии.
