
At present, due to total computerization, there can be observed the belittling of the theoretical foundations of descriptive geometry as a science, and therefore as an academicdiscipline. The article explains the necessity to save descriptive geometry in the arsenal of higher technical education with compulsory formalization of its content, change in methods of teaching with visual-empirical approach to the research approach.
Благодаря тотальной компьютеризации сегодня происходит принижение теоретических основ начертательной геометрии как науки, а следовательно, и как учебной дисциплины. В статье обосновывается необходимость сохранения начертательной геометрии в арсенале высшего технического образования с обязательной формализацией ее содержания и изменением методики ее преподавания.
