Abstract

The way to prevent mastitis in cows with mammary gland pathology, which is based on the use of optimal doses of Bactocellolactin and Bioinfuzine, has been developed. Bioinfuzin is a preparation the acting components of which are ecdisteroids biologically active substances extracted from the Rhaponticum Carthamoides. The studies were conducted on Black-Spotted × Holstein cows under the conditions of the farm enterprise of « Uchkhos «Lipovaya Gora» in Perm region. It is proved that the use of Bioinfuzine intramuscular in the dose of 2.5 ml/100 kg live weight starting from the first days after calving, during 7 days, contributed to prophylaxis of the clinical form of cow mastitis at the beginning of lactation period, with the preventive effect being 41.7%.
