Abstract

In the article the results of the author"s longitudinal researches in adolescents with delinquent behavior are represented in the form of sections in 1989, 1994, 1996, 2004, and 2008. Eventually adolescents with intellectual deficiency were revealed 38%, 35%, 44%, 38%, and 42% accordingly. The profound checkup (section ¹ 3) indicates that intellectual deficiency to a degree of moronity can be diagnosed, with great probability, in 27% of inmates of the trade school for delinquent adolescents. The qualitative intellectual deficiency revealed is relevant for the time of the checkup since the emphasis was made on phenomenology of defect but not on its etiology. In another 14% of examined adolescents inferior intellect is observed at the level of borderline intellectual deficiency which is the variant of norm.
