ПАТРИОТИЗМ КАК ОСНОВА ПАТРИОТИЧЕСКОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ ШКОЛЬНИКОВ

Abstract

This article presents the results of analysing the concept «patriotism» in the context of developing patriotic culture within a comprehensive school; reviews the definitions of the concept «patriotism» in the referrence books; gives common and different features in scientists’ view points on patriotism as value, sense, moral principle, trait of personality, standard of behavior, regulator of activity. It displays the results of the theoretical analysis of patriotism constituents: the cognitive component means identifying the object of patriotism, the affective component is expressed in the emotional estimation of the object, the behavioral component specifies the actions in relation to the object. The paper proves that the knowledge of the constituents of the patriotism is necessary for teachers’ maintaining the school society prospects, developing personalities of high morals; it focuses on patriotism as essential part of students’ patriotic culture development at the rational, emotional and activity levels.

Автор статьи делает попытки осмыслить понятие «патриотизм» в контексте решения проблемы формирования патриотической культуры учащихся общеобразовательной школы; проанализировать определения понятия «патриотизм», представленные в научной и справочной литературе; выявить общее и различное во взглядах ученых на патриотизм как ценность, чувство, нравственный принцип, личностное качество, образец поведения, регулятор деятельности; осуществить теоретический анализ компонентов патриотизма: когнитивный компонент означает осознание объекта патриотизма, аффективный выражается в эмоциональной оценке объекта, поведенческий указывает на существование действий, поступков по отношению к объекту; доказать, что знание компонентов патриотизма необходимо для осмысления педагогами перспектив развития школьного социума, формирования высоконравственных личностей; обосновать, что патриотизм является фундаментальной основой формирования патриотической культуры школьников на рациональном, эмоциональном и деятельностном уровнях.
