Youth is considered to be the key period in the development of personal emotional intelligence. The characteristics of students’ personality types are given from the point of view of structural features of the emotional intelligence. It is proved that the level of emotional intelligence affects the methods of career implementation. The formation of individual trajectory is defined as a means for developing students’ emotional intelligence.

Период юности рассматривается как ключевой в развитии эмоционального интеллекта личности. Даны характеристики типов личности студентов с точки зрения структурных особенностей эмоционального интеллекта. Обосновывается влияние уровня эмоционального интеллекта на способы реализации жизненного пути. Построение индивидуальной траектории определяется как средство развития эмоционального интеллекта у студентов.
