Abstract

The article considers the problem of formation of aesthetic standards of senior pupils as a necessary condition for many-sided, harmonious and full development of personality. For preconditions of formation of aesthetic culture, the author emphasizes such psychophysiological features of older adolescents as the need to develop the mindset and position in life, increased interest in the moral and ethical side of human relations, the appearance of the higher senses, etc. Special attention is paid to the problem of functional asymmetry of the hemispheres of the cerebral cortex and their uneven ripening.
