Abstract

The article deals with the topical issues of contemporary education in accordance with an educational demand within the global information society. It provides the explanation of the concept of «Foreign language information competence» and studies the principles of the development of foreign language information competence in detail. Their gradual implementation provides an effective and successful teaching process. The article marks a particular importance of the all-round application of the existed principles of development of foreign language information competence concerning the goals, aims, methods and means of teaching as well as organization of the process of teaching foreign languages as a whole.

В статье освещаются актуальные вопросы современного образования в соответствии с социальным образовательным заказом в рамках глобального информационного общества; приводится определение понятия «иноязычная информационная компетенция», подробно рассматриваются принципы формирования иноязычной информационной компетенции, планомерная реализация которых обеспечивает успешность и эффективность образовательного процесса; отмечается особая значимость всестороннего применения разработанных принципов формирования иноязычной информационной компетенции по отношению к целям, задачам, методам, средствам обучения, организации процесса обучения иностранному языку в целом.
