Abstract

Meteorite threats are essential problem for the life of all mankind. In this article, I demonstrate that the Earth has a self-protection mechanism against meteoroids (giant stones and small comets), irruptive into its electronegative atmosphere from outer space. I'm the first who analyzed this mechanism as 4D (time-space) inertial, polarizing and quantum, cumulative and dissipative one. I proved that the increased pressure of the electrons at the periphery of the positively charged plasmoid behind meteoroid compresses the plasmoid as a whole (positive ions and electrons inside) toward to its center. Thereby the pressure generates cumulative jet of high-energy electrons that destroys meteoroid by Coulomb explosion. I conclude that the electronegative Earth's atmosphere itself protects us from meteoroids and small comets. This mechanism has also the military-strategic meaning. In these aims the Artsimovich’s railgun was tested in the laboratory of Shatoursky branch of Joint Institute for High Temperatures of RAS. This unique device is electromagnetic cannon that shoot very small projectiles weighing up to three grams, but the shelling of steel plate by such projectiles leads to its transformation into a plasma and evaporation. This is because the electromagnetic accelerator, which was used instead of the traditional gunpowder, gives to the projectile a gigantic speed. However, in the Artsimovich's railgun magnetic forces are determined by coefficient equal ratio of the speed of the body to speed of light. There is no such decreasing coefficient in Vysikaylo's railgun with the space charge. I propose a model taking into account the breach of the plasma's neutrality, as well as the formation of conjugated cumulative jets of high-energy electrons and ions. This approach is effective both when developing of plasma beam weapon, and to create a global system of protection against meteoroids
