Abstract

The article investigates the image of Harlequin in Agatha Christie’s collection of short stories «The Mysterious Mister Quin» (1930) and Dorothy Sayers’ novel «Murder Must Advertise» (1933); Harlequin is compared in these writers’ works and it is argued that Christie influenced Sayers.
