Abstract

The article presents the pedagogical approaches to the characterization of "public upbringing " and its role in the implementation of the upbringing potential of the school. The analysis of pedagogical V.A. Karakovsky position in the development of public upbringing as a condition of humanization and democratization of the modern upbringing system; characterized pupils' self-management and children's public associations as subjects of public upbringing.

В статье представлены педагогические подходы к характеристике «общественного воспитания», его роли в реализации воспитательного потенциала школьного образования. Дан анализ педагогической позиции В.А.Караковского в развитии общественного воспитания как условия гуманизации и демократизации современной системы образования; охарактеризованы ученическое самоуправление и детские общественные объединения как субъекты общественного воспитания.
