Abstract

Для анализа развития мировой образовательной системы и выявления намеченных тенденций в статье рассмотрены рейтинги лучших университетов, составленные «Таймс» и Шанхайским университетом. Процесс получения вузом статуса элитного основывается на наличии критической массы лучших сту-дентов и высококвалифицированных преподавателей. Отличительной чертой в этой связи становится возможность университетов самостоятельно проводить процедуру отбора студентов и магистрантов с самыми высокими академическими показателями. Большое внимание уделяется мобильности внутрен-ней и внешней. Только самые лучшие университеты мира принимают большое число иностранных сту-дентов и нанимают преподавателей, отбирая самых лучших. Высокая степень обеспеченности ресурсами характеризует большинство университетов мирового класса., основывающаяся на больших объемах привлеченного частного капитала и успешной конкуренции ППС за государственное финансирование научно-исследовательской деятельности. Отличительной особенностью университетов мирового уровня является его структура управления, конкурентоспособная среда, степень академической свободы и авто-номное управление.

To the analysis of the global educational system and identify tendency planned in the article deals with the ratings of the best universities made by “Times” and Shanghai University. The process of obtaining the status of an elite university is based on the presence of a critical mass of top students and highly qualified lecturers. A distinctive feature in this regard is the possibility of universities to carry out the procedure for selection of students and undergraduates with the highest academic performance. Great attention is paid to internal and external mobility. Only the best universities in the world are taking a large number of foreign students and hire lecturers, selecting the best. The high degree of availability of resources characterizes the majority of world-class universities based on large amounts of private capital, and compete for the professorial faculty government funding of research activities. A distinctive feature of world-class universities is its governance structure, competitive environment, the degree of academic freedom and autonomous control.
