Abstract

Effect of 4-day starvation and reduction (by 30 % and 50 % of the norm) of feed intake on dynamics of live weight, digestibility of basic nutrients and reproduction in intact and gamma-irradiated ewes was compared. Of two agents, such as ionizing radiation and reduction of feed intake, the latter produced the higher effect on dynamics of the live weight and reproduction as compared with irradiation at dose of 3 Gy.
